Jamie T. Nguyen is an associate with Mattingly & Malur, P.C. Mr. Nguyen concentrates his practice in intellectual property matters including patents, trademarks and copyrights, with a particular focus in patent prosecution including both domestic and foreign applications. He has experience in cases at various levels before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as providing counseling on foreign patent matters.

Mr. Nguyen has experience handling patent matters involving a various technologies including cellular devices, biometric identification, digital rights management, tablets and mobile computers, digital and analog circuits, electron microscopy, particle therapy systems, wireless communications, computer networking, computer storage systems and also mechanical technologies.

He also has experience in various aspects of infringement and validity analyses, claim construction, and discovery outside of prosecution matters. Before studying law, Mr. Nguyen gained valuable technical experience in researching and developing wireless communications hardware. During law school, he also worked to provide patent portfolio management services in several high technology fields.
