Mr. Malur is a partner at Mattingly & Malur. Mr. Malur’s practice focuses primarily on patent and trademark prosecution, client counseling and opinion writing.
His expertise is in a variety of areas in the electrical and electro-mechanical fields. During law school, he was a member of the Giles S. Rich Inn of Court. He previously worked at the patent firm of Limbach & Limbach in San Francisco before returning to the Washington, D.C. area.
Mr. Malur was born in Bangalore, India. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. After commencing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech, he decided to go to law school in the Patent Law Track at George Mason University, where he started the George Mason University Intellectual Property Law Society. He is admitted to the Bars of the District of Columbia and California and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the AIPLA and ABA.
