Mr. Mattingly is an experienced patent attorney and the firm’s managing partner. He was raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., and Mr. Mattingly graduated from the University of Maryland and the Northern Virginia Law School, where he was president of the student bar association. Mr. Mattingly’s technical expertise is in the electrical and mechanical arts. He has significant U.S. and foreign patent prosecution experience and client counseling experience, including evaluation and analysis of patent validity and infringement issues. Mr. Mattingly lives with his wife near Annapolis, Maryland where he volunteers as the longtime public address announcer for the local high school sports programs.
